Legrand is a French industrial group specializing in electrical solutions and equipment for the home and business. Historically focused on its international development, the company has grown from a simple national brand to a multinational giant, with significant expansion in cutting-edge fields such as home automation or all types of electrical environments.

As part of its expansion and adaptation to different markets, Legrand undertook a crucial ergonomic and graphic overhaul of its digital interfaces. This was aimed at improving the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) in line with the company's various target audiences, spread across the globe. As the company is present in over 90 countries, this redesign was articulated by taking into account the relationship with the Internet of Internet users in each country, notably via their degree of familiarity with browsing, or the variability of connections in different regions of the globe.

What issues and problems have been addressed?

The main challenge for Legrand was to offer a optimized user experience (UX) despite the diversity of digital skills and internet infrastructures of its users around the world.

The tool developed by Parker+Parker

To meet these challenges, our agency supported Legrand in an in-depth analysis of all its subsidiaries and their browsing habits. We classified them according to several categories based on their digital maturity. On this basis, website typologies were developed, precisely adapted to each target.

Legrand's UX/UI redesign project illustrates how a multinational company can effectively adapt its digital tools to meet a diverse range of requirements and conditions of use. Through its segmented approach and commitment to continuous improvement, Legrand reinforces its leadership position while significantly improving the user experience on its digital platforms.

An adaptability challenge taken up brilliantly thanks to the collaboration of the Legrand and Parker+Parker teams.
