Digital africa
Digital Africa, is a community of partners (incubators, institutional financiers...) financed by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) at the service of African digital entrepreneurs.
The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) group is a public establishment that helps implement France's development and international solidarity policy.
Born of the will of French President Emmanuel Macron, the Digital Africa initiative was developed to support and accompany the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Africa. One of the axes of this development has been the desire to set up a community platform at the service of African digital entrepreneurs, illustrating the reinvention of the relationship between France and Africa.
What issues and problems have been addressed?
How to federate a community bringing together entrepreneurs, startups, technological and strategic partners, business-angels and other financiers, around a strong African entrepreneurial dynamic?
The challenge is to successfully make available to entrepreneurs, a collaborative platform that works and performs: a tool for sharing, advice, support and networking within a federating community logic. All this within a pressured 3-month deadline, imposed by President Emmanuel Macron's announcements.
The tool developed by Parker+Parker
We began the project design with a state of play, enabling us to draft personas and create the first user flows.
In parallel, our creative studio developed a graphic universe specific to Digital Africa. Distinct from that of AFD, it is representative of its missions in Africa through the color palette and digital through the graphic elements.
The platform is divided into two distinct parts:
✚ On the one hand, a showcase site presenting the initiative to the general public,
✚ On the other hand, a community space accessible by registration bringing together community functions.
