Business events in a unique setting

With its seaside and surrounding forests, the Arcachon Basin is the ideal place for an escape from the city for a moment.

    • La Dune du Pilat: easily accessible by bus or car, the Dune du Pilat offers a unique view of the ocean. Ideal for memorable group photos, you'll need to manage to climb a hundred or so metres of sand beforehand. As the site never closes, it's accessible at any time of day. There's no shortage of gourmet restaurants in Le Pyla. You'll be able to find establishments close to the Dune to eat and enjoy the view.
    • La pointe du Ferret: right in the middle of a pine forest lies the tip of the Cap Ferret peninsula. The 180° view over the Arcachon Basin, the Banc d'Arguins and the Dune du Pilat is breathtaking. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of Alex Cristol, the French Skimboarding champion, practicing on the waves. While the tip of the cape is easily accessible by car in the off-season, you'll have to opt for cycling or boating in high summer due to the crowds. Cap Ferret is full of restaurants and oyster shacks, where you can enjoy local food and breathtaking scenery.
    • L'ile aux oiseaux: situated in the middle of the Arcachon basin, the Ile aux oiseaux is a true ornithological wonder. Take a 2-hour guided boat trip to discover the basin from a unique angle, and catch a glimpse of the famous cabanes tchanquées. Be sure to check the tides beforehand! Take advantage of the excursion to enjoy a meal on the boat, or consider making a reservation at one of Arcachon's many waterfront establishments.

    Activities for everyone!

    • Located in the winter town of Arcachon, the Casino Mauresque is today a large arboretum-style park offering a splendid view over part of the town. It's a great place for walking, cycling, picnicking or playing sports. It's easy to imagine team-building workshops in the Parc Mauresque!
    • What about team golf as a way of strengthening bonds? It's possible with CapGolf! Located on the CapFerret peninsula, this leisure site offers the opportunity to spend some time on the green for classic golf, but also footgolf and disc golf. With a capacity of 300 people, many professional projects are possible.
    • The size of Lac de Cazaux makes it possible to try out original activities such as water skiing! In fact, some water-skiing schools offer group courses to create lasting memories and reinforce balance within a team.

The advantage of an easily accessible destination

As well as being a destination full of good addresses and activities to do, the Arcachon basin is really accessible.

A mere hour's flight from Paris, the basin is above all well served by the rail network. So it's easy for your company to book a carriage for your team. The train offers a flexible schedule that makes the whole stay simpler to manage. It's also relevant when it comes to reducing your carbon footprint.

Finally, the Arcachon basin is a destination not to be underestimated. Its various venues and infrastructures make it easy to organize credible, high-quality business events. And in the process, you benefit from a complete escape between forest and ocean.
